It states in the 'Interested in Joining?'bit of our website that, 'we are less excited about
writing for very young children (but something for older children, that might appeal to adults would be welcome).'
So I guess we could just remind people of that before they read out a story fit for under eight year olds ( or maybe we should just say we hate them rather than just being 'less excited'...)

I don't really see how we can judge a story for under 8s. I would personally find it difficult.

I agree. It just feels wrong. Maybe the workshop a writer needs for that would consist of a group of young children. There may be ways of writing stories that make them interesting for both adults and children. However, I think writing for children almost by definition holds less interest and relevance to other workshop members.

I am glad people agree. I think we need to update the website and put an age limit in. I.will do so.
